Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 2026
Cookies are small text files stored by a website in your browser. They are a browser technology, so they apply to the GlobalScoreX website only — the Android app is native and uses no cookies. Both surfaces are covered below.
Website — globalscorex.com
Types of cookies and storage we use
- Essential — needed for the site to function and to remember preferences such as your cookie-consent choice. These cannot be switched off.
- Analytics — a Google Analytics 4 cookie helps us measure aggregate traffic and which competitions are popular, so we can improve the experience. Our second analytics tool, Vercel Analytics, is cookieless.
- Advertising — the website does not currently serve ads and sets no advertising cookies. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.
Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings, and manage Google ad personalisation through Google's Ads Settings. In regions where consent is required (such as the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), non-essential cookies are used in accordance with those requirements. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site work.
Mobile app — GlobalScoreX for Android
The Android app uses no cookies. Its advertising (Google AdMob, with Meta Audience Network mediation), analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase) and crash reporting (Sentry) run through mobile SDKs and use your device's resettable advertising ID rather than cookies. What those collect and how to opt out — including resetting or deleting the advertising ID in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads — is described in the app section of our Privacy Policy.
Third parties & more information
Some data on both surfaces is handled by third parties — Google (analytics and, on the app, AdMob advertising), Meta Platforms (app ad mediation) and Sentry (app crash reporting). Their use of cookies and identifiers is governed by their own policies; see Google's advertising policies. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
